1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of pilotinfosys.com (the “Site”), operated by Pilot Information Systems, Inc. (“Pilot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to your use of the public Site only. Use of Pilot’s claims-edit and payment-integrity software products and services is governed by separate written agreements between Pilot and the client organization, including any applicable subscription, license, master services, or Business Associate agreements. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and such an agreement, the separate agreement controls.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Site for lawful business and informational purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any manner that violates applicable law or regulation;
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content on the Site without our prior written consent, except as permitted under these Terms or by applicable law;
- Use any automated means (other than well-behaved search-engine crawlers acting in accordance with our robots policy) to access, scrape, or index the Site;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, related systems, or other users’ accounts;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the Site or its underlying infrastructure;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code;
- Submit Protected Health Information (“PHI”) or other sensitive personal data through public Site forms or general email channels.
4. Intellectual Property
The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, software, product names, and the OaRS® designation — are owned by or licensed to Pilot Information Systems, Inc. and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, no portion of the Site may be reproduced or used without our prior written consent. The trademarks, service marks, and trade dress displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners.
5. No Professional Advice
Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal, medical, billing, coding, or compliance advice. Healthcare claims processing involves complex and evolving regulations, and you should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your circumstances. References on the Site to industry standards such as NCCI, MUE, LCD/NCD, and similar editing methodologies are for descriptive purposes; authoritative sources are the issuing agencies and current published guidance.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL PILOT INFORMATION SYSTEMS, INC. OR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pilot Information Systems, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced with an enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
